You are entitled to be paid the prevailing wage and benefit rate due the type of classification of work which you are doing.
You have the right to file a claim for wage benefits that you should have received on any public works project. Claims can be filed with the appropriate government agency. The MLMA can assist you in filing your claim.
The Montana Labor – Management Alliance (MLMA), is a private, non – profit, fair contracting organization that works toward assuring that Public Works construction projects are awarded properly and that all the local and federal laws are adhered to regarding payment of the prevailed wage.

Our board of directors is made up of contractors and union representatives with years of experience in the construction industry. Each of our compliance investigators have over 20 years of experience working in the field as construction hands and can easily recognize the different classifications of work being performed.
